Emma Kopleff, MPH, is a Program Officer in the Engagement department at the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI). In this role, she evaluates and improves PCORI’s methodologies and messaging for engaging stakeholder communities in PCORI-funded research and other initiatives.

Kopleff’s career has centered around stakeholder engagement and consensus building in support of national efforts to improve healthcare quality. Before PCORI, she was senior policy advisor at the National Partnership for Women and Families, where she advocated on behalf of a coalition of consumer and purchaser organizations in national conversations about healthcare quality measurement and policy. Prior to that, Kopleff gained expertise in consensus building across healthcare stakeholder groups, and in performance measurement and improvement methodologies, at the National Quality Forum. Kopleff has had other roles that emphasized the engagement of cross-departmental teams and the standardization of compliance functions and standard operating procedures within healthcare settings.

Kopleff earned a BA and an MPH from Case Western Reserve University.
