Heather Phipps is a master-level clinical research specialist with 10 years of research experience. She has been involved in patient-centered research for three years, primarily in data collection.  She recently transitioned her role to focus more on the entirety of the grant writing and study design, implementation, and dissemination processes. Phipps is motivated to gain a deeper understanding of how patient engagement is involved in the research process, and best practices to develop and engage a community of patients and stakeholders.  Phipps is currently completing the PATIENTS Professors Academy, and looks forward to future learning opportunities that will be provided by her role as a PCORI Ambassador.
