Hillary Bracken, PhD, MHS, MA, is a Program Officer for the Healthcare Delivery and Disparities Research program at the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI).

Before joining PCORI, Bracken was a Senior Director at Gynuity Health Projects, where she designed and directed clinical, community, and health systems research in reproductive and maternal health for more than a decade. Previously, she worked at the Population Council, managing clinical studies and social science research related to reproductive health. Bracken began her career in global health as a Peace Corps volunteer in Cote d’Ivoire. She has authored peer-reviewed publications related to preeclampsia, miscarriage management, and other reproductive health topics.

Bracken earned a BA in Asian Studies from Dartmouth College. She also holds a MHS degree from Johns Hopkins School of Public Health, a MA from the University of California, Berkeley, Department of South Asian Studies, and a doctoral degree in history from the University of Virginia.
