Imelda Medina, MD, MPH, received her medical degree from Ponce School of Medicine in Puerto Rico and her MPH degree from the University of Miami. She practices public health with a focus on person- and people-centered care and self-care of mental health and other chronic conditions, human trafficking prevention, and community service programs. She started her work as an Ambassador in 2019. She would like to participate in PCORI’s Coffee Break webinars and work with other Ambassadors and researchers worldwide on initiatives with a focus on person- and people-centered care.
