John Larribas is a person with disabilities. He was diagnosed with MTBI (mild traumatic brain injury), and life has always been challenging. He believes there were other behavioral concerns that were not diagnosed or treated in his youth. He feels that he and perhaps others may have “slipped through the cracks” in terms of proper treatment and diagnosis. Larribas would like to help himself and others understand how to communicate with the medical community. He understands that there are opportunities to be explored with PCORI that may help in achieving these goals.
