As a nonscientist member of the International Progressive MS Alliance Scientific Steering Committee, Jon Strum works to ensure that the perspectives and priorities of people affected by progressive multiple sclerosis (MS) are reflected in the alliance’s research and work. He is the host of the RealTalk MS podcast, which reaches over 8,000 listeners in more than 90 countries around the world. As a member of the iConquer MS patient-powered research network, he leads a team of researchers, caregivers, and healthcare providers in defining and piloting a protocol to provide proactive support and resources for care partners whose family member has received an MS diagnosis.
