Jonathan Moore, MPP, is Associate Director of Public Engagement at the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI). In this role, he is responsible for strategic decision-making and high-level management of stakeholder engagement activities, focusing on outreach to payer, patient and consumer, caregiver, and clinician organizations.
Before joining PCORI, Moore served as a Brookings Fellow with the House Ways and Means Health Subcommittee, focusing on issues relating to private insurance and Medicare. He served as special assistant to the assistant secretary for planning and evaluation (ASPE) at the US Department of Health and Human Services. At ASPE, he reviewed all work relating to health and human services policy research funded by ASPE, led special projects, and managed the department’s annual legislative development process. Prior to HHS, he was a researcher at NORC at the University of Chicago.
Moore earned a BA in sociology and legal studies from Northwestern University, and an MPP from the University of Michigan Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy.
