Kimerly Coshow, PhD, was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease (PD) 17 years ago. She also worked as a state director for the Parkinson’s Action Network for 17 years, which has motivated her to continue patient-centered advocacy with PCORI for three years. She continues to work with national PD organizations as a patient and research advocate. In addition, Coshow is involved with patient-centered research at Emory University, with a focus on PD. She holds a BFA from Savannah College of Art and Design, a master’s degree in clinical Christian psychology, a PhD in psychology, and a doctorate in theology. She has gained significant experience working with underserved populations throughout her professional career.
