Kosuke Niitsu is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner who earned a doctorate in psychiatric mental health nursing. His research interest includes stress, trauma, resilience, behavior genetics, and immunology. As a staff registered nurse, he worked in an inpatient psychiatric unit to care for people with serious mental illness. As a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, he worked as the student mental health nurse, caring for professional learners such as medical residents and nursing students.
