Kristen Metzger, MPA, MSCJ, was a Project Manager in Program Support & Information Management at the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI). Prior to that, Metzger was the Administrator for Contracts Communications in Contracts Management and Administration She worked with internal clients and subject matter experts to draft all communications for PCORI’s external stakeholders, developed and distributed pre- and post-award communications in support of all cycles and PCORI Funding Announcements throughout the application process, and ensured that all Contracts Management and Administration-related web content was regularly updated. She also managed PCORI’s online external stakeholder community. Metzger served in these roles from late 2011 to mid-2018.
Before joining PCORI, Metzger was a legislative assistant for Capitol Associates, Inc., a bipartisan health care lobbying firm. Prior to that, she was an investigator in the Public Protection Advocacy Bureau of the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office.
Metzger received her BS in sociology from Stonehill College, and a dual master’s degree in public administration and criminal justice from Suffolk University.
