After receiving a diagnosis of multiple sclerosis (MS) in 2012, Kristine Werner became an active participant in iConquerMS, a patient-powered research network. She holds a Master of Science in technical and professional communications and has a background in healthcare IT, technical writing, instructional design, marketing, communications, executive support, and organizational transformation. After leaving work in 2015 due to MS, she become involved with the MS Society, particularly in advocacy. She currently chairs the society’s Government Relations Advisory Committee and sits on the Board of Trustees, Georgia Chapter.
