Laura Genoves

Laura Genoves is a passionate patient partner. Laura lives in the Seattle, Washington area and has been a highly engaged patient partner and volunteer of the Arthritis Foundation for many years on both the local and national level. Laura was raised in Honolulu, Hawaii and diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis at the age of 27. Later on, she was then diagnosed with Sjögren syndrome and osteoarthritis. Laura is a licensed family law legal professional, and in her free time, enjoys spending time with her adult sons and cheering on her Seattle Mariners. Laura was a founding member of the Arthritis Foundation's national Patient Leadership Council and is now a member of the newly created Patient Perspectives Panel. She also has volunteered in advocacy events with the American College of Rheumatology, making visits to policy makers in Washington, D.C.
