Marnie Colton, MFA, is a Medical Editor at the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI). As a medical editor in the Peer Review department at PCORI, Colton copyedits and proofreads final research reports to ensure that they are clearly written and follow the American Medical Association’s preferred style.
She previously worked as a journal manuscript coordinator at the American Psychological Association and as an editorial assistant for the American Journal of Physical Anthropology. She also edited database entries for OMIM, based at the McKusick-Nathans Institute of Genetic Medicine, Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
Colton is a member of the American Medical Writer’s Association and holds an MFA in creative writing from Emerson College.
