Maryam Tabatabai, PharmD, is the senior director of drug information for Magellan Rx Management. She provides oversight and actively engages in evidence-based writing, therapeutic class reviews, development of clinical policies, new drug evaluations, and specialty and traditional drug pipeline forecasting.

As part of the drug information spectrum, Tabatabai brings a wealth of experience in translating clinical trial constructs and regulatory actions into real-world settings. She serves on a number of key actionable committees and is the editor-in-chief for several best-in-class Magellan Rx Management clinical publications. Since obtaining her doctor of pharmacy degree, she has gained meaningful pharmacy and clinical experience in the community, academic, hospital, ambulatory care, and pharmacy benefit management settings. Upon completing her pharmacy practice residency, Tabatabai joined Magellan, where she has been a highly regarded central clinical resource across the enterprise.

Tabatabai served on the Advisory Panel on Clinical Trials from August 2019 to August 2022.
