Megan A. Lewis, PhD, received her doctorate in social ecology from UC-Irvine. She conducts patient-centered research focusing on weight management, HIV, and rare diseases in children and adults. Her interests focus on promoting informed and shared decision making for people managing rare diseases, behavior change for complex chronic health conditions, and how digital technology can promote patient engagement. She became a PCORI Ambassador via involvement in the PCORI Patient Engagement Advisory Panel.
