Megan Sauer graduated from Wayne State University with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and currently works as a pharmacist in a Detroit hospital. She was diagnosed with an oligodendroglioma in 2017. She is now a survivor because of the healthcare team at the Hermelin Brain Tumor Center at Henry Ford Hospital, which invited her to employ her healthcare knowledge and experiences by serving as a patient advisor on its Patient Family Advisory Council.
