Monica Grandovic
National Patient Advocate Foundation – Volunteer
Years Involved in Patient Centered Research: 5-10 years
State: Indiana
Monica Grandovic, MBA, MA, is a merit reviewer and Ambassador for PCORI. She is a volunteer for the National Patient Advocate Foundation. She was diagnosed with a chronic, life-altering debilitating disease. Living with the disease has changed her professional and educational goals. She left the business world and is about to start working on her PsyD. Helping other people is her new priority. Research is very important, and the most common obstacle for research studies is funding. When she learned of PCORI through NPAF, she knew that this was a step toward achieving her goal of helping others in as many ways as she can.

Health Conditions
These are the broad terms we use to categorize our funded research studies; specific diseases or conditions are included within the appropriate larger category. Note: not all of our funded projects focus on a single disease or condition; some touch on multiple diseases or conditions, research methods, or broader health system interventions. Such projects won’t be listed by a primary disease/condition and so won’t appear if you use this filter tool to find them.
