Nana Martinson, MPH, was a Program Associate for the Research Infrastructure team at the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI). In this role, she provided management of the research demonstration projects and the Patient-Powered Research Network (PPRN) Engagement award portfolio in support of PCORnet®, the National Patient-Centered Clinical Research Network.

Before PCORI, Martinson was an associate scientist at Millipore Sigma (formerly known as BioReliance), where she tested contamination during development and manufacturing of biologics produced for clinical investigation. She has also worked as a health promoter for an organization that focuses on eliminating health disparities and improving the quality of life for African Americans. Martinson has also served as a representative of a forum to the United Nations, which enabled her to actively engage with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ESOSOC) and its subsidiary bodies.

Martinson received a BS in biology from University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and an MPH from A.T Still University of Health Sciences, College of Graduate Health Studies.
