Nathalie Occean, MHA, has recently been involved in collecting data for the Charleston tri-county region’s 2019 Community Health Needs Assessment. She received her bachelor’s degree in women and gender studies with a minor in biological sciences from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Occean received her master’s degree in health administration (MHA) at the University of Memphis in Memphis, Tennessee and went on to complete her Administrative Fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina. A former professor of Occean’s during her time in the MHA program in Memphis is a member of the PCORI reviewer community, and his involvement sparked her interest in PCORI.
