Neely Williams, MDiv, is the patient co-principal investigator for the PCORnet Bariatric Study, the patient co-investigator for the PCORnet Phase I and Phase II Mid-South Clinical Data Research Network, and a community partner consultant at the National Institutes of Health. She also serves as Community Principle Investigator for the Meharry-Vanderbilt Alliance.

Williams has a background in working on a variety of social issues. Since 1997, she’s worked with the First Response Wellness Center of the Metropolitan Interdenominational Church, the Imani Coalition, UJIMA House, the Interdenominational Ministers’ Fellowship Peniel Initiative, and the Obesity Observational Research Initiative.
