Nestelynn Gay has served as a patient advisor with the Henry Ford Health System Patient Engaged Research Council and was an advisor on its PCORI-funded Cancer Precision Medicine engagement project. Since being diagnosed with brain cancer in 2013, she has created patient spaces including a Facebook support group with over 2,500 members. She is currently completing a master of science in administration which she will finish in Spring 2021.
