Nicolette Harris, DAT, received her Doctor of Athletic Training degree from A.T. Still University. She currently works as an athletic trainer and clinical assistant professor for the Nicole Wertheim College of Nursing and Health Sciences at Florida International University. As an Ambassador, she has served as both a merit and peer reviewer. However, in the future, she hopes to be involved with the Advisory Panel on Healthcare Delivery and Disparities Research as well as PCORI-funded research projects. Her motivation for continued involvement with PCORI is her interest in learning about and practicing patient-centered medicine as well as advocating for the rights of the underserved.
