Orlando Gonzales, MPA, was the Operations Manager on the Communications team and the chief of staff for Engagement at the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI), between 2012 and April 2017.
In the Communications team role, he developed and managed strategic and day-to-day activities, both within Communications and across the organization. His larger projects included the PCORI Annual Meeting, PCORI’s peer review and public release process, and the Communications budgeting and performance analytics.
Gonzales has more than 15 years of experience in business and non-profit management at the local and national levels.
Gonzales earned a BA in sociology from Georgetown University, and an MPA from the Bernard Baruch School of Public Affairs, where he was a National Urban Fellow.
