As a new PCORI Ambassador, Patrick Gee, PhD, is interested in research projects that are focused on kidney disease, education, treatments, and solutions. Becoming an Ambassador gives him a greater opportunity to not only share his experiences but to offer his voice on behalf of those that are not being heard. He is also involved in advocacy through other organizations. He believes it is important to have patient representation in the discussion as it relates to fighting this disease. His education is at a doctorate level in justice, law, and criminology. He focuses on policy/legislative efforts on behalf of kidney patients. He looks forward to learning and contributing as much as he can as a PCORI Ambassador.
