Rebecca Seago-Coyle, MA, is a long-term breast cancer survivor. She was diagnosed in 2010 at the age of 35 with Stage 1 ER+, HER2+, and BRCA2+. She was exposed to the power of advocacy even before she was diagnosed. She remembers a woman sharing her story of survivorship and how impactful she was to others. With a strong family history of breast cancer in her family, Seago-Coyle is inspired to advocate for breast cancer research, specifically for young women who are newly diagnosed. Her volunteer and advocacy work has only grown over the years, and she is a believer in the importance of a healthy lifestyle, especially for those diagnosed with breast cancer.
