Sara Masoud has served as key personnel on a Eugene Washington PCORI Engagement Award to partner with a diverse group of stakeholders to identify priorities for patient-centered outcomes research in dementia care that are relevant to the targeted end users. She has served as principal investigator and coprincipal investigator on other community-engaged research projects to better understand the experiences of persons living with dementia and/or family caregivers and develop or refine interventions to meet their needs. She is a community engagement coordinator for a not-for-profit program that supports families living with dementia through education, service, and research. She is also a doctoral student in translational science, focused on community-engaged research to develop and test interventions for vulnerable populations.
