Sarah Huling is currently a doctoral student in education at the college of St. Scholastica, who is studying applied behavior analysis and its impact on patient-centered outcomes. Ultimately, she would like to leverage PCOR and CER to help advocate for communities in rural settings. Sarah lives in an isolated rural community and has worked on the front line of patient care. She has witnessed gaps and disparities within the healthcare system and believes there is a better way to care for patients. Sarah feels the interconnected, interdependent, long-term relationship culture of rural communities is the future of sustainable solutions for national and global healthcare.
