Shilpa Amin, MD, MBSc, has a background in family medicine. She is board certified in family, geriatrics, and integrative medicine. Amin completed a women’s health fellowship and has a master’s in biomedical sciences with a focus in clinical research. Amin has a passion for patient-centered outcomes research and would like to continue this journey with PCORI. She is at the center of outcomes and evidence, having previously served as a medical officer at the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), a family doctor helping people from cradle to grave in multiple roles, and as a public health physician and stakeholder. Amin would like to continue to be actively engaged and involved in design, implementation, translation, and dissemination components of research.
