Sindhura Gummi, MPH, is a Program Associate for the Healthcare Delivery and Disparities Research program at the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI).
Before joining PCORI, Gummi was a clinical research coordinator at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. She managed budgets, contracts, and grants, in addition to running clinical trials for the Department of Medicine focused primarily on thrombosis and diabetes studies. During her graduate work, she completed her practicum at New York University, where she developed a mixed methods report on the barriers and facilitators immigrant women faced in accessing cervical and breast cancer screening services.
Gummi received her BA in public health policy and minor in women studies from the University of California, Irvine, and an MPH with a concentration in sociomedical sciences and certificate in health promotion and research practice from Columbia University, Mailman School of Public Health.
