Sornia Joseph, a certified community health worker, completed a research training for community health workers in 2017. She is a nurse with an associate degree in mental health counseling. As an Ambassador, Joseph hopes to become involved in all aspects of research. She is retired from a federally qualified community health center, where she worked as a health navigator. Attending PCORI's annual meeting gave her a new sense of direction, inspiring her to be a part of the research aspect of healthcare delivery.
