Sugene Ju works in digital health and uses a combination of design thinking methods and research methods to conduct user (patient) interviews to understand patient pain points and map out the patient journey. She designs digital interventions that engage patients and help with disease management, health system navigation, or wellness. Sugene has received training through the Stanford D-school in Design thinking, has been a guest lecturer on designing patient-centered interventions and products at Boston University School of Public Health and Johns Hopkins, and has about 8 years of direct work experience conducting patient centered research as part of designing new products and programs.
