Susan Lin is an Occupational Therapist and Program Director of the Occupational Therapy Department at Marymount University. She is the former Research Director of the American Occupational Therapy Association and has reviewed grant proposals for the National Institute on disability, independent living, and rehabilitation research. Her research interests include patient-centered outcomes research, stroke rehabilitation, and rehabilitation treatment specification.

Lin holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the College of William and Mary, a Master of Science in occupational therapy from Virginia Commonwealth University-Medical College of Virginia, and a Doctor of Science in therapeutic studies from Boston University. Representing the patient perspective, she has a long history of being involved in PCORI, serving as a member of the Clinical Effectiveness and Decision Science Advisory Panel, a Mentor Reviewer, Merit Reviewer, and Ambassador. She has received the Outstanding Occupational Therapy Alumni Award from Boston University and the Fellow Award, from both the American Occupational Therapy Association and the American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine.

Susan served as a member of the Advisory Panel on Clinical Trials from August 2020 to August 2023.
