Thuy-Vy Do, PhD, is a Program Officer in the Clinical Effectiveness & Decision Science department at the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI). Prior to this role, Do served as  Merit Review Officer where she was responsible for overseeing and managing the high-quality and objective review of funding applications submitted to PCORI.

Before joining PCORI, Do was at the University of Kansas Medical Center, where she was responsible for leading, designing, planning, and conducting independent research projects focused on evaluating the preclinical efficacy of combination therapies that exploit DNA damage response defects in ovarian tumor cells. She has also designed and managed basic science and preclinical research projects investigating pathways that mediate ovarian cancer cell peritoneal dissemination at Fox Chase Cancer Center and Northwestern University.

Do received a BS in biology from the University of Cincinnati, and a PhD from Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine, specializing in tumor cell biology.
