Vickie Wilkerson does a lot of volunteer work with the National Psoriasis Foundation. She has battled psoriasis for 16 years and psoriatic arthritis for five years. She was honored to be a co-author on a white paper that was submitted to PCORI. This is what got her involved with patient-centered outcomes research about two years ago. Wilkerson is interested in the comorbidities that are associated with psoriasis. She would like to become a peer reviewer or serve in a capacity that would help advance any project. Wilkerson has an associate’s degree in paralegal studies.

Health Conditions
These are the broad terms we use to categorize our funded research studies; specific diseases or conditions are included within the appropriate larger category. Note: not all of our funded projects focus on a single disease or condition; some touch on multiple diseases or conditions, research methods, or broader health system interventions. Such projects won’t be listed by a primary disease/condition and so won’t appear if you use this filter tool to find them.
