Stakeholder Type: Researcher
Wasan Sharieh is a participant in the PCORI-funded EMPART project. She began her research journey in 2015 while in medical school, after realizing how a lack of research data negatively impacted the Middle East. She was part of an ambitious team whose aim was to deliver the basics of research writing to college students for free. During hands-on training, 50 students completed 14 proposals. The COVID-19 pandemic made Sharieh more determined to be part of patient-centered research.
