Whitney McInvale, MPH, is a Program Associate for the Engagement team at the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI).
Before joining PCORI, she was a research assistant on a Randomized Controlled Trial that used mobile technology as a mechanism for delivery of smoking cessation messaging at the Milken Institute School of Public Health at The George Washington University. She conducted more than 1,000 interviews for data collection and conducted data analyses. She also managed websites, developed strategic communications plans, and managed social media for the GW Cancer Institute.
She previously was a case manager at the behavioral health organization Aspire Health Partners, where she assisted the HIV-positive community under a federally funded grant. She served as a point of contact between clients and other stakeholders in the healthcare system, with the goal of connecting clients to suitable resources and facilitating stable housing while medical care was initiated.
McInvale received a BS in psychology and sociology from Florida State University, and an MPH in communications and marketing from The George Washington University.
