Project Summary

“Equipping You for Success: Training for Family Caregivers in Team-Based Medical Decisions” is a free seminar for family caregivers and patients. It is designed to help people make informed medical decisions—for themselves and those they care for—that are tailored to their family’s needs. When patients and caregivers take an active role in their health, better outcomes result. That’s why Caregiver Action Network (CAN) is excited to announce this new series of educational seminars specifically designed to help caregivers and patients be better informed and better prepared to make treatment decisions using comparative effectiveness research. By giving patients and caregivers information on how to use comparative effectiveness research, CAN hopes to help patients and caregivers make well-informed decisions to select the medical treatments best suited for their life and medical situation.
