Project Summary

Relieving Pain in Kansas City (RPnKC) is an activated, engaged group of individuals who live with chronic pain and who have come together to transform the way pain is perceived, judged, and treated. This mission will be accomplished by engaging people who live with pain and by partnering with the medical community, researchers, and other stakeholders in the development and study of effective strategies to effect that transformation. RPnKC plans to increase its patient/citizen leader membership, improve and widen its strategic communications effort, and work on exploring possible comparative effectiveness research questions based on the direction provided by participants during Tier I.
