Project Summary
The literature on mobile health (mHealth) for chronic disease self-management has developed rapidly over the past decade, resulting in systematic reviews that provide enough data to create evidence maps.
These maps were designed, in part, to help PCORI better understand the coverage of its portfolio of funded projects in this area and better evaluate where research gaps may still exist. The maps were primarily developed as pilots, to explore various methodologic issues encountered in this emerging form of evidence synthesis. Learn more about the evidence maps.
