Project Summary
PCORI is commissioning a topic brief and rapid scoping review of nonpharmacologic interventions for migraine prevention. PCORI recently completed a rapid review and evidence map on benefits and harms of drugs and devices for migraine prevention, and now seeks to understand the current state of the evidence on nonpharmacologic interventions to support funding decisions for future comparative effectiveness research and evidence synthesis.
The goal of the topic brief is to identify key nonpharmacologic therapies; provide an overview of clinical practice guidelines, systematic reviews, and randomized controlled trials that assess nonpharmacologic migraine prevention; and highlight evidence gaps.
