On March 31, 2020, PCORI initiated this webinar series with "Part 1 - Report from the Field: How We Are Managing Incident Command." Presenters represented health systems located in New York state, which is currently the epicenter of the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States, with about 60% of the total confirmed cases in the country. The discussion continued in a follow-up session on April 2, 2020, with representatives from systems in Virginia and Texas that are just beginning to see an exponential rise in patients with COVID-19.
